The 13th Annual Lehigh Valley Winter Classic is being held on Saturday, January 31, 2026. All donations will benefit Special Hockey of the Lehigh Valley (SHLV). SHLV provides Lehigh Valley youths with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, brain injuries, and other cognitive disabilities an opportunity to play the greatest game on earth: ice hockey.

The Classic will consist of a full day of hockey games including a game played by our very own local special hockey team, the Lehigh Valley Polar Bears. Last year, we exceeded +1,500 patrons at the event, a number that continues to increase year over year. All donors of the Classic will receive a verbal announcement on the PA system, logo placement on a sponsor banner, and recognition on our website; guaranteeing as much exposure as possible for all sponsorship levels.

2025 Social Media & Website Analytics

• Facebook is our largest platform with 1,600+ followers (+5% growth vs. 2024), a reach of 13,600+, 100k+ individual views on our content, and 15+ hours watched of posted Reels

• Our 2025 YouTube live game broadcasts were produced with a professional local media company. Across the 9 live-streamed games there have been 2,500+ views averaging 10 minutes each and 400+ hours of viewing time

• Instagram has grown from 2024 by incorporating a focus on Reels with a 75% increase in organic reach, 75% more visitors, and 25% increase in followers

• Our website sees over 1,400 unique and engaged visitors during our event promotion season with 94% being completely new visitors! Of which, there are over 2,300 sessions stemming from organic search, direct (URL), and Facebook. Each visitor spends an average duration of 4 mins 20 secs per visit

• 82% of our visitors and social following are coming from the PA and NJ areas, followed by 6% in the surrounding NY and DC areas

• Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are actively used to promote sponsors, event updates, and to engage with our promoters such as the NHL alumni VIPs, media, and our partners

• Since our first event, $514k has been raised for SHLV and other special hockey programs in the US
